Many inhalers are manufactured following a standard color system that can help identify the medication inside. However, the cap colors do not always follow this system.

Many MDI inhalers use a propellant gas called chlorofluorocarbon, which damages the Earth’s ozone layer. Newer CFC-free inhalers work just as well but are better for the environment.

What are the benefits of using the Round Purple Inhaler?

The Round Purple Inhaler contains 2 medications: fluticasone (a steroid) and salmeterol (a bronchodilator). Fluticasone reduces swelling and inflammation in the airways while salmeterol opens the airways to make breathing easier. The medication can be used with a spacer device (such as Able Spacer, Aerochamber Plus, Nebuchamber, Optichamber and Volumatic) or without one for children and babies.

The Round Purple Inhaler and Round Inhaler can be used as a maintenance inhaler to help prevent asthma symptoms or a quick-relief inhaler for sudden asthma attacks. The inhaler is easy to use and can be stored easily, making it convenient for children to carry with them. It is recommended that a child should take their inhaler at least twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening, 12 hours apart. This may be in addition to taking their regular reliever inhaler as needed for asthma attacks.

If your child has a severe attack of asthma or if they use their quick-relief inhaler more than two times in 24 hours, they should see a doctor immediately as this can be a sign that they are having a severe flare up of the condition. A medical professional will decide on a course of action, including possible hospitalization.

Before using the inhaler, it is important to prime it so that the child gets a full dose of medicine. To do this, shake the canister and spray into the air away from the face 4 times. This step is especially important if the inhaler has not been used for four weeks or more, or if it has been dropped.

It is also helpful to keep a list of the names of the medicines and inhalers your child uses, including the colour of the inhaler. This will help to avoid any mistakes or confusion when the child is being treated by a doctor who does not have their medical records.

Some doctors will recommend that a child also takes a long-acting beta agonist asthma inhaler, such as formoterol or salmeterol, with their steroid inhaler. This is called a MART regime and studies have shown that this approach can improve asthma control and lead to fewer asthma attacks.

specialitymedz brand medication White Inhaler is used to treat asthma and COPD. It works by decreasing inflammation in the lungs and improving air flow. The pharmacologic action of salmeterol, a component of this drug, is at least in part due to its stimulation of intracellular adenyl cyclase, which results in increased levels of cyclic-3′,5′-adenosine monophosphate (cyclic AMP). This increase in cellular adenosine cyclase activity results in smooth muscle relaxation.

Elevation of hepatic enzymes has occurred in greater than or equal to 1% of patients in clinical trials, but these elevations were not considered serious and did not result in discontinuation from the trial. No clinically relevant changes in glucose or potassium were observed.

In 1-and 3-year trials, ADVAIR DISKUS was associated with a higher rate of pneumonia in COPD subjects 65 years of age and older than placebo. This difference was primarily because of the greater number of COPD subjects in this age group compared to those in the younger age groups.
