I know what I saw. I know that you saw it too. But, for some reason, you’re pretending like you don’t see it.

Like it’s not happening right in front of your face. But, I can’t pretend anymore. I won’t pretend anymore.

I won’t be a part of this sick game that you’re playing.

When I was younger, I used to pretend that I didn’t see the things that were happening around me. I would close my eyes and hope that whatever it was would just go away. But eventually, I realized that pretending wasn’t going to make anything better. In fact, it was only making things worse.

Now, I decided not to pretend anymore. If something is happening that I don’t like, or that makes me uncomfortable, I’m not going to ignore it. Instead, I’m going to speak up and do something about it.

Because the only way we can make a change is by facing our problems head on.

I Decided Not to Pretend I Don T See It Anymore – Chapter 3

When I was younger, I used to pretend that I didn’t see the things that bothered me. I would tell myself that it wasn’t a big deal, or that I was just being paranoid. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized thatpretending something doesn’t exist doesn’t make it go away. In fact, ignoring the problem often makes it worse.

Nowadays, when something bothers me, I try to address it head-on. If there’s an issue at work that’s been bugging me, I’ll talk to my boss about it. If there’s something going on in my personal life that’s causing stress, I’ll talk to my friends or family about it.

And if there’s something bothering me on a larger scale – like politics or the state of the world – then I’ll do research and try to learn more about it so that I can understand what’s going on and how best to deal with it. Pretending like everything is okay when it’s not only makes things worse for you in the long run – trust me,I know from experience. So if you’re struggling with something right now, don’t ignore it or pretend like it doesn’t exist.

Acknowledge the problem and begin taking steps to solve it. You’ll be better off in the end!

-Why Did You Decide Not to Pretend You Don’T See It

It’s not that I don’t see it, it’s just that I choose not to focus on it. If you can’t change something, why dwell on it? It’s not worth my time and energy to pretend that something doesn’t exist when it clearly does.
