I live in Los Angeles, so when I say “my favorite place,” I’m talking about the beach. And not just any beach – I’m talking about Venice Beach. It’s a place where the sun always shines, the waves are always crashing, and there’s always a feeling of peace and relaxation in the air.
But lately, that feeling has been replaced by a feeling of frustration and anger. You see, ever since the city started construction on the new highway, traffic to Venice Beach has been a nightmare. It’s made it nearly impossible to get to my favorite place without sitting in gridlock for hours.

I love my city. I was born and raised here, and it’s always been my favorite place. But lately, the traffic has been getting really bad.
It’s starting to affect my quality of life. I’m finding myself spending more time in traffic and less time doing the things I love.
I’m not sure what the cause of the increase in traffic is, but it’s definitely a problem that needs to be addressed.
I hope that the city can find a way to fix this soon, because I don’t want to have to start looking for a new favorite place.
