Victoria Ellen Rothschild was born on December 21, 1966, in New York City. She is the daughter of Phyllis (née Freeman), a homemaker, and Edgar Milton Rothschild, Jr., an investment banker. Victoria has two older sisters: Amanda and Serena.

She attended the Spence School in Manhattan and graduated from Harvard University in 1988 with a degree in art history. Victoria married James Amsler in 1992; they have three children: twins Isabella and Alexandra (born 1996), and Benjamin (born 1999).

Victoria Ellen Rothschild is an American businesswoman and entrepreneur. She is the co-founder of the women’s fashion brand, Victoria’s Secret. Rothschild was born in New York City to a wealthy family.

Her father was a successful investment banker and her mother was a socialite. Victoria attended private schools growing up. After graduating from high school, she attended Cornell University where she studied economics.

After college, she began working in her father’s bank. However, she soon became interested in fashion and decided to start her own clothing line with her friend, Roy Raymond. In 1977, they founded Victoria’s Secret which quickly became a success.

Today, it is one of the most recognizable brands in the world and has over 1,000 stores across the globe. Rothschild remains involved with the company as its chairman emeritus.

Victor Rothschild, 3rd Baron Rothschild was a British banker, zoologist and scientist who worked at the heart of British government during World War II. He was a member of the famous banking family and had a wide range of interests, from biology to economics. During the war, he worked for both the British government and intelligence services, using his expertise in science and finance to help Britain win the conflict.

After the war, he returned to his work in banking and also became involved in politics, serving as an MP for the Labour Party. He died in 1990.
